Three children learn how to use a microscope and discover an exciting new worldDarwin Science Festival has supported Pembrokeshire County Council's Buzz Club initiative through the Peasat Project sponsorship from Dragon LNG.

The Buzz Club provides opportunities and support for pupils who are more able and talented and the Darwin Festival brings science alive for Pembrokeshire's Bright Young Things.

 

Buzz Olympiad
2nd July
20 schools will be bringing 4 pupils to take part in five events for the Olympiad of science. These talented children will need problem solving skills to tackle five subjects, in biology, physics and the environment.

Techniquest 2007
Darwin treats the children to a visit to Techniquest as a reward for their hard work during 2007. As well as enjoying the centre, the children attend Probability and Problem Solving workshops and activities designed for Keystage 3.

Buzz kids are taken on a field trip with local Geologist Sid Howells. They learn how to find evidence of past climate changes in the rocks and sediment on the Pembrokeshire coast. Buzz kids learning about geological evidence of climate change with Sid Howells
