Milford Haven Port Authority Waterway Project
Three schools will have the opportunity to travel around the waterway with geologist Sid Howells. They will learn about aspects of life on the waterway, including the role of the Port Authority, how the waterway was made and what activities take place there. Three youth groups will also be able to take part, their trip will be slightly different. Contact the office for details, 01437 753193.

Fishweek School's Day
Hook School has been invited to come on an aquatic investigation day. They will be kick sampling in a stream, seine netting in the estuary and rockpooling by the sea. They will later have an art workshop inspired by their day of watery fun, with Space2Create.


Water Sustainability, all year round.
Schools are able to come with us and explore the water abstraction and treatment sites in Pembrokeshire. This inspiring day shows just how much work goes in to providing us with safe drinking water.

 

Science Aglow July
Four schools will have the opportunity to bring their science projects to Pembrokeshire College. They will attend four science workshops and hear a talk by Bang Goes the Theory presenter, Liz Bonnin.

Schools have the opportunity for an exciting science trip and workshop back in the classroom. Schools will be able to go rockpooling, visit Carew tidal mill, learn river science, walk along the coast path and have beach competitions.
