When What
Year Round Join in and help during our field trips. We have loads of field trips that you can get involved with, including; water from river to tap, rockpooling, litter picking and events in the Merlin Theatre.
When you're ready

Create an album of our newspaper and magazine articles. (We have all of these just not in any order yet!)

Are you an avid astronomer, engineer, mathematician who wishes people thought your subject was more exciting. Can you deliver exciting talks to enthuse your audience? Do you just need to someone to provide a venue and an audience? Contact the Darwin Science Festival.

We'd like to thank our volunteers:

Anna - helped us at our Science Aglow event this year.

Sam - has been helping us for over a year, she has attended several Science Aglows, workshops and field trips.

Tom - he came in for a week's work experience and helped with a microscope workshop, a rockpooling event, created a photo montage for marketing and helped with ideas for an upcoming workshop on energy.

Sarah - she helped at several rockpooling sessions and with her marine biology background was able to lead a few groups, she also helped out at the Buzz Olympiad.

Mark at Aurora Imaging came on both the Seals and Porpoises walk and the Preseli Ramble, took pictures at both and donated some for our website. www.photowales.com

Rhian, a Coastal and Marine Environment Studies student at Pembrokeshire College, has helped at several events including all of the festival events in July and donated several of her photographs for marketing and the website.

Will, a pupil at a local high school, volunteered over the summer for a number of field trips, the Welston Challenge, Buzz Olympiad and Life After Dark.

Jackie, another Coastal and Marine Environment Studies student, has helped in the office; archiving and filing educational resources, typing minutes and came out with several school trips.

Katreya, a Portugese student working for Sea Trust helped out at Science Aglow.
